For enrolled students:
We have a limited formulary but can special order most medications. Our formulary includes medication for travel and required school immunizations.
Currently, the pharmacy does not accept any insurance plans. Our cash price is generally less than or equal to most insurance co-payments. Also, the pharmacy doesn't stock Accutane or dispense Schedule II medications such as Vyvanse, Focalin, or methylphenidate (Ritalin, Concerta).

New prescriptions from outside providers:
We can fill most prescriptions written by outside prescribers. Have your off-campus provider send your prescriptions electronically to "Cal Poly SLO Pharmacy."
Transferring your prescription to the Cal Poly Pharmacy:
If you have refills on your prescription at another pharmacy, please provide us the pharmacy phone number, your prescription Rx number, and the name of the medication. We will call the pharmacy to transfer the information.
Please plan ahead. We are a small and busy pharmacy. Refill requests are generally available for pick up the same day. However, sometimes it takes 24-72 hours for a response for additional refills. All special-order medications are received the next business day.
Pharmacy pickup: Please call 805-756-5260 for a refill request. You will receive a phone call from our pharmacy when your prescription order is ready.
