COVID-19 Vaccine and Boosters
There are many options available to students to receive their COVID-19 vaccine. COVID-19 vaccine appointments are free and don't require information about the recipient's immigration status. Please read below and find the option that works best for you.
COVID-19 vaccines, including boosters, are safe and effective. The CDC recommends everyone stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines for their age group.
Health Services currently has a limited supply of the bivalent booster, should you require one. Please call 805-756-1211 for an appointment.
The newest vaccine is due to release in late September early October, 2023, following recently released CDC guidance recommending an updated COVID-19 vaccine for fall and winter virus season.
Please visit the CDC website for the latest guidelines on when and which COVID vaccine you should obtain.
If you recently had COVID-19, you may consider delaying your next vaccine (primary series or booster) for 90 days after your symptoms started, or if you did not have symptoms, the date of your positive test.
People who are moderately or severely immunocompromised have different recommendations for COVID-19 vaccines.

Make an appointment at the Cal Poly Health Center.
